Austin Village Street Part, 1992.

A film made by John Andrews in 1992, submitted to the Built to Last: Austin Village at 100 project. the film will feature in a new online archive about Austin Village, a prefabricated village in Longbridge, Birmingham, that largely consists of prefabricated cedar wood homes manufactured by the Aladdin Company of Bay City, Michigan.

 

Blue Plaque Ceremony, 2002.

In 2002, Birmingham Civic Society installed a blue plaque in The Austin Village, commemorating the life of Sir Herbert Austin, the founder of The Austin Motor Company and The Austin Village
